Ever since I was a 13 year old emo kid who loved going to Hot Topic and only having a wardrobe of band merch (cringe), I always dreamed of going to the Vans Warped Tour and seeing my favorite bands live.
Warped Tour is a cross-country tour that's basically a touring festival with 50+ bands playing at every date, very much one of a kind. After 23 years, the iconic tour is having its bittersweet final cross-country tour this summer, starting in California and ending in Florida.

After waiting for 8 years, I finally had the opportunity to travel to California to see one of the dates in Pomona, and photograph the Ventura date which I never thought I would get to do. Thanks so much to Anthony Green for helping me out with getting into the tour!!

Although I got the worst sunburn of my life at the Pomona date, I had one of the happiest days of my life shooting the Ventura date, and will never forget the beautiful family-like community that Warped is. It really is amazing how music can bring everyone together. Here are some of my favorite shots of the 18 bands I managed to squeeze in to take photos while running around like a maniac.
(This is also in chronological order of how the day went!)

Made some cool new friends, and definitely felt at home here even if it was just for a full day. Warped Tour will forever have a special place in my heart, and hundreds of thousands of others as well.
